• Voges-Proskauer test (acetoin); negative after 24 hours at 36°C but positive after 48h at 25°C
• Phenylalanine deaminase
• Motility at 36°C

Positive or negative:

• Indole production (about 50% positive)
• Esculin hydrolysis (about 25% positive)
