Neisseria gonorrhoeae (gonococcus). Gram-negative intracellular diplococci in the stained exudate (a common finding in acute gonorrhea).
Morphology: Gram-negaitive cocci in pairs with the opposing sides flattened (a "kidney bean" appearance).
